Graduates Ready for Tasking (GRFT) is a partnership between universities and Navy Activities that recruit and/or sponsor research at the university. To promote these objectives, GRFT raises awareness on campus of Navy civilian STEM careers, scholarships and student employment opportunities. The program provides a pathway for interested highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students to employment in the Navy civilian workforce. GRFT includes an annual cycle of seminars, field trips, sponsored programs, internships and mentorships that lead to a graduate that is prepared in their area of study, aware of and motivated towards Navy civilian careers and has a fundamental understanding of the Navy’s structure, mission and challenges, in short, a Graduate Ready for Tasking.
In full implementation, the GRFT Program is available at 15 NEEC universities. Events, news and information will be added as it becomes available.
